The explosion in the mosque in the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt killed at least 85 people, and another 75 were wounded. This was reported by The Guardian.
Earlier in bi-Bi-si reported 54 fatalities.
The attack occurred in the town of al-Arish during Friday prayers. According to witnesses, the terrorists detonated the explosive device and then opened fire to four SUVs.
It is not clear what organization is responsible for the attack.
