The Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban agreed to “meet all the requirements of the European Commission” concerning the freedom of science and higher education, within the prescribed period. At a meeting in Brussels with representatives of the European people’s party (EPP), forming the largest conservative faction in the European Parliament, Orban expressed his willingness to cancel all the previously imposed restrictions on universities, said the representative of the EPP on Saturday, April 29.
