The competition for the creation of the Museum of the revolution of dignity applied by the representatives of 12 countries of the world. This was reported by press Secretary of the President of Petro Poroshenko Svyatoslav Tsegolko in his Twitter.
“65 entries from 12 countries submitted to the competition on creation of the National memorial complex of Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred – the Museum of the revolution of Dignity” – said in the message.
Poroshenko said that now begins formal work on the selection of applications, adding that the memorial should be a national project.
“It should not be the project architect or project of the President Poroshenko, or government project, or the Minister of culture. It should be our common national project, I am confident that we will succeed”, – he said.
On 14 September the Kyiv city Council has allocated to the Museum of the revolution of dignity a land area of 1.22 hectares, located in the Alley of heroes Heavenly hundreds.
