The court of appeal of Kiev refused to satisfy the appeal of the SAP on the measure of restraint son of interior Minister Alexander Avakov in the form of personal commitments. This was stated by the presiding judge Valery Lashevich, UKRINFORM reported.
“The court has decided the appeal complaint to leave without satisfaction”, – said Lashevich.
Recall, November 1, Solomensky court of Kiev decided to release Alexander Avakov on personal recognizance without bail.
Avakov was detained by employees of the NABU October 31, 2017 in the case of possible embezzlement of funds in the purchase of backpacks to the Ministry of interior (so-called case of the backpacks Avakov). Also arrested was the former Deputy interior Minister Sergei Chebotar and Volodymyr Lytvyn, which has previously been associated with the manufacturer of the controversial backpacks.
