The Kremlin-controlled Razdolnensky district court in occupied Crimea has once again refused Ukrainian political prisoner Vladimir Baluku in the petition for referral for medical examination. It is reported by the Crimean human rights group.
“The judge” Elena Tedeev motivated the refusal by saying that Baloch not deprived of the opportunity to call an ambulance. The arguments of the defence that the ambulance does not conduct surveys and may not give the direction of the survey, were ignored”, – stated in the message.
In addition, the judge refused to summon the former head of the criminal investigation Department Dmitry Popov as a witness in connection with the fact that he’s already retired, and his place of residence to the court allegedly unknown.
The defense objected to this failure because the witness is dead and in Russia, so there are no grounds for cancellation of examination of the witness , because “priests is the Central figure of fabricating his case and other prosecutions”.
“Not a customer, but the man who led the performers,” said Baluch.
It is noted that, despite the objections, the judge decided to declare the testimony of Popov without his summons.
