The Shevchenkovsky district court of Kiev returned the GPU indictment against ex-Deputy from Party of regions Oleg Tsarev, who is suspected of infringement of territorial integrity of Ukraine. It is stated in the decision of the court in the Unified register of judicial investigations.

“Implementing the plan, (Tsar – ed) has developed a criminal plan, which was to create preconditions for the growth of tension in society, the confrontation between residents of Western and South-Eastern regions of Ukraine and secession from Ukraine of its regions with the subsequent accession to the Russian Federation”, – stated in the document.

“The Tsar used every possible means to promote among the citizens of Ukraine, especially residents of the South-East, claims that: endorse the annexation of Crimea by Russia, recognized the legitimacy of the so-called DNR and urged them to join the choice of the inhabitants of the Crimea”, – stated in the decision of the court.

However, the court refused to start the trial and returned to the Prosecutor’s office indictment. The reason – there is no signature Tsarev, which would indicate that the presentation to him of suspicion, as it violates his rights.

“The court comes to the conclusion about the impossibility of the proceedings on the basis of the indictment in the criminal offences stipulated hours 3 tbsp 109, CH 2, article 110 of the criminal code of Ukraine, believes that this indictment contains significant deficiencies, does not meet the requirements of the criminal procedure law, in connection with what to be returned to the Prosecutor”, – stated in the decision of the court of 21 June 2016..

The Prosecutor General’s office has previously submitted to the court in absentia indictment against Tsarev.

Against tsarov criminal case for appeals to overthrow of the constitutional system of Ukraine and attempt at its territorial integrity. The Verkhovna Rada on 3 June 2014 deprived of his parliamentary immunity.

The court returned the GPU to the case of a suspected separatism Tsarev 04.07.2016
