The representative of the Ukrainian cultural center in the temporarily occupied Crimea Leonid Kuzmin said that left the Peninsula after threats. About it reports Radio Freedom.
Kuzmin claims that already a few days on the mainland of Ukraine.
“I decided to leave Crimea after the “persuasive” conversations. On the phone I had various messages that said that I was waiting for the fate of Baluja (Ukrainian Volodymyr Baluja the occupants were charged with possession of ammunition and sentenced to 3 years and 7 months in a colony – ed.). After that I decided I needed to leave,” – said Kuzmin.
According to him, there is information that in the annexed Crimea before the occupiers task is to “clean up the field before the election”.
Kuzmin said that he plans to return to their activities related to education.
21 March 2017 it was reported that four leaders of the Ukrainian cultural centre of the Crimea, was summoned to the Crimean Department of the FSB in Simferopol.
