The leaders of 27 countries-EU members agreed on the principles for the forthcoming negotiations with the UK for the country’s exit from the community. Reported by the BBC.
27 leaders approved the draft recommendations in less than 15 minutes. The main items introduced on 31 March, the President of the European Council Donald Tusk.
Tusk wrote on Twitter that “solid and fair political mandate” for negotiations ready.
In the project Tusk as a fundamental principle established that Britain want to see in the future as a close partner of the EU.
The main purpose of the meeting was to provide the UK an orderly exit from the EU, to minimise associated faults. Also separate the intention to minimize the probable losses in the trade.
In financial terms, both sides should adhere to its past commitments.
The EU also noted that will find new locations for the location of the administrative authorities, who are now in Britain.
The negotiations of the EU with the UK will begin July 8.
On March 29, Britain officially announced to the European Council about its intention to leave the EU.
