The European Commission has established fixed fees that are not dependent on the price of the goods to hot-rolled coils from Russia, Ukraine, Brazil and Iran. The decision shall come into force 7 Oct.

For the Ukrainian Metinvest group of businessman Rinat Akhmetov, the fee will amount to 60.5 euros per ton For Brazilian companies the amount of the fee varies from 53,4 to 63.0 euros per ton, for Iran is 57.5 Euro per ton.

For the Russian group Severstal, the fee will amount to 17.6 Euro per MT, Novolipetsk steel rate of 53.3 euros per ton, and for the Magnitogorsk metallurgical plant – 96,5 EUR per ton

Earlier, the European Commission proposed to set the fees instead of the minimum import prices for hot rolled coils from four countries in the amount of 472,27 euros per ton But this proposal did not receive support from governments of the countries of the European Union and was rejected.

The initiator of the imposition of duties have become the European Association of steel industries (Eurofer).

Earlier it was reported that the Board of the Eurasian economic Commission has set anti-dumping duties on hot-rolled angles produced at Ukrainian enterprises.
