American tragic and comic film “Lady Bird” directed by Greta Gerwig broke the record of the authoritative movie website Rotten Tomatoes, collecting 100% positive reviews, reports the New time.

Just a few days, the film has collected 173 positive feedback from critics and no negative. Previously no film gathered as quickly very positive reviews.

The film tells the story of students in high school that’s trying to escape to new York with a foster brother.

Starring: saoirse Ronan (“the Lovely Bones”, “Guest”), Laurie Metcalf (“big Bang Theory”) and Timothy Chalamet (“Call me her name”).

The world premiere took place on 1 September 2017 at the International film festival in Telluride. The release of the film in wide release is planned for 2018.

“It’s a great feeling when you put yourself into the film and get a return. Thanks to everyone,” – commented the Director Greta Gerwig.

Earlier it was reported that a documentary film about Ukraine, The Distant Barking of Dogs (“Distant barking of dogs”) won the festival in Amsterdam.
