The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine stated that it did not negotiate with the Georgian colleagues about the possible extradition of Mikhail Saakashvili. About this to journalists today, said Deputy foreign Minister Vasily Bodnar, UKRINFORM reported.

“Ministry of foreign Affairs is not exactly negotiating extradition (Saakashvili – ed.), “said Bodnar.

The Deputy Minister added that Georgia is within the scope of its competence, but no contact with the Georgian side, the Ministry of was not.

Earlier the Georgian opposition television station Rustavi 2 reported that the head of the state security Service of Georgia conducts secret negotiations with the Ukrainian side for the extradition of Saakashvili.

12 December, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili said that the issue of the possible extradition of Saakashvili from Ukraine to Georgia is not considered at the political level.
