Without implementation of the Minsk agreement, there is a risk of “intensive military escalation with many further victims of the civil and the continued stagnation in the political process.” This was stated by the foreign Minister of Germany, Sigmar Gabriel, reports Deutsche Welle.

The Minister urged both sides to implement the Minsk agreements.

According to Gabriela, even the most intense efforts at negotiation will not yield a result, if “not enough political will to implement agreements.”

He also recalled that during the Munich security conference, Kiev and Moscow insisted that they use their influence for the implementation of the agreements reached Tripartite contact group on 15 February.
