The European Union contributed to the sanctions list of the illegally elected “Governor” temporarily occupied Sevastopol Dmitry Ovsyannikov. This is stated in the Official journal of the EU.
To the list of persons, entities and bodies subject to sanctions, said Ovsyannikov, who was “elected” illegally held in Sevastopol, the invaders elections September 10, 2017.
July 28, 2016, he was appointed President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, acting “Governor of Sevastopol”, and in this role worked “on further integration of the illegally annexed Crimean Peninsula into the Russian Federation”. The EU noted that Ovsyannikov responsible policies aimed at undermining the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
Ovsyannikov also spoke positively about the actions of “little green men” who took part in the annexation of Crimea in March 2014.
