The Prosecutor General’s office confirmed the opening of criminal proceedings against the head of the National anti-corruption Bureau of Artem Sytnik. The commentary of the GPU provided LIGA.net.

The proceedings were opened on 16 November 2017 for the treatment of MP from the popular front for Elena Masorini and the statement of Irina Nimetz – the former concubine of the former military Prosecutor of the forces of ATO Konstantin Kulik.

As noted in the GPU, we are talking about facts “subject to disclosure Sytnyk of information constituting a state secret, the conduct of the officials of the NABOO and SAP investigative (search) and covert investigations against Nimetz, which led to the violation of the inviolability of private life, secrecy of her correspondence and telephone conversations, as well as the disclosure of data of preliminary investigation, discrediting the honor and dignity of the last.”

The production opened under part 2 of article 163 (violating the secrecy of correspondence and telephone conversations), part 1 of article 182 (violation of privacy), part 1 of article 328 (disclosure of state secrets), part 2 of article 387 of the criminal code (disclosure of investigative activities, the pre-trial investigation).

In early 2016 the NAB has started investigation against Kulik, who is accused of purchasing expensive real estate while working in the military Prosecutor’s office. The Prosecutor himself stated that he owns one car and one apartment, which he allegedly gave to the mother.

November 16, 2017, the media reported that the GPU started criminal proceedings against the rush because of the likely disclosure to them of the data of the investigation.
