The gross external debt of Ukraine at 1 October amounted to $117,35 billion, or $2.36 billion higher than as of July 1 ($114,98 billion). The national Bank of Ukraine (NBU) reported on the official website.

With the beginning of the year the gross external debt of Ukraine has increased by 3.26%, said the regulator.

Relative to GDP the amount of debt for the nine months decreased to 111.4 percent GDP 121,9% at the beginning of the year.

The external liabilities of the public sector during this period increased by $3.8 billion to $46,5 billion private-sector Debt since the beginning of the year decreased by $0.1 billion to $70.8 billion
