The head of the largest Russian oil company Rosneft Igor Sechin prepares next year to the price of oil at $40-43 per barrel, reports Reuters.

“I think next year we will have the price of oil the average for the year in the range of $40-43, and we are ready”, – he told in interview to one of TV channels.

Earlier, the head of the energy Ministry of Russia Alexander Novak predicted that prices for Brent crude next year will be in the range of $45-55 per barrel.

Oil prices this year was supported by the agreement of OPEC countries regarding production cuts, which is valid until the end of March 2018.

Today Brent crude is trading near $54 a barrel.
