In Ukraine, on 12 November, will visit the world Bank group President Jim Yong Kim.
As the press service of the WB, the purpose of the visit was to discuss the agenda of reforms in Ukraine and confirm the support of the world Bank to accelerate economic growth and improve people’s lives.
Jim Yong Kim will meet with President Petro Poroshenko, Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman, civil society representatives, private sector leaders, and members of Parliament.
It is planned to discuss ways to accelerate reforms in agriculture, health care, pensions, energy, banking and combating corruption in Ukraine to improve the lives of people, competitiveness and the creation of new jobs.
The world Bank recently endorsed the Concept of partnership with Ukraine for the years 2017-2021. Its goal is to support the efforts of countries to achieve sustainable economic recovery.
