The international monetary Fund determined the date of the meeting of the Board of Directors on the question of the third review of the extended Fund after completion of a Memorandum of cooperation with Ukraine. This was stated by the representative of the Fund, William Murray, reports Radio Liberty.
According to Murray, Director of the IMF Christine Lagarde met with representatives of Ukraine in Davos and noted the progress in reforms. Now continue to finalize the Memorandum of economic and financial policies regarding time frames.
“Once the document is finalized, will submit a completion report revision of the program to the Board of Directors for the coming weeks. I don’t have the exact dates,” said Murray.
The IMF said that the Fund will consider in coming weeks to grant Ukraine the next tranche.
Earlier it became known that the Fund in January will not consider issues eff EFF with Ukraine.
Finance Minister Alexander danyluk said that Ukraine expects to receive the next tranche from the IMF in early February.
