Government forces in Iraq launched an operation against Kurdish militias in the predominantly Kurdish province of Kirkuk. This is with reference to the Iraqi General says the Agency AFP.

In his words, Baghdad is going to regain control lost in 2014 and in the battles against the Peshmerga territory.

In response to such actions of the government of Iraqi Kurdistan being moved under Kirkuk (city) about six thousand men.

“Their troops on the front line – about three kilometers from the troops of the Peshmerga,” said the Kurds.

November 1, Iraqi Kurdistan intends to hold its presidential and parliamentary elections. 25 September in the Autonomous region held a referendum on independence from Iraq.
