The militants of the Islamic state at the hands of 11 thousand of these Syrian passport forms. This writes the Bild am Sonntag, citing the Federal office for criminal Affairs and the Ministry of internal Affairs, reports Deutsche Welle.
These forms are real, and the militants could try to impersonate refugees.
As of October 2016, the office for migration and refugees has tested more than 81 thousands of suspicious passports. In more than 10% of cases were found fake.
In the first half of 2017, German police recorded a reduction of approximately a quarter of the number of illegal border-crossing compared to the same period last year.
