The Kremlin does not see “anything offensive” in the boorish manner of speech of the Deputy permanent representative of the aggressor state of Russia to the UN Vladimir Safronkov at the last meeting of the security Council. This was stated press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov, reports propaganda online RIA Novosti.

In his opinion, the behavior of the diplomat was “permissible and reasonable”.

“Nothing offensive was said. Indeed, the topics of discussion are very serious in the security Council,” – said Peskov, noting that “the manifestation of the softness in the future is fraught with very dire consequences.”

“It is better to defend the interests of our country today and, if necessary, rather harshly,” – said the press Secretary of Vladimir Putin.

12 April 2017 the UN security Council failed to adopt a resolution to conduct investigations into allegations of use of chemical weapons in the Syrian province of Idlib. When voting for the project, which was submitted by the delegations of UK, USA and France, Russia had used the veto.
