Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andrew Parubiy on Tuesday, 21 November, signed the Parliament adopted the law No. 5496, which introduces the day December 25, Catholic Christmas day, and cancels the output 2 may. It is stated on the card bill on the website Glad.
Now the document has been submitted to the President for signature Petro Poroshenko. The President has 15 days to approve the legislation or veto it.
In case of signing by the President the law will come into force on the day following the date of publication.
16 Nov 2017 Rada adopted a law which introduced the day on 25 December and has canceled holiday on 2 may. The document introduces changes to article No. 73 of the Code of labour laws.
