Singer of the German group Scooter, H. P. Baxter was stripped of his seat in the jury of the German TV show DSDS (Germany searches the super star) after the protest of the Ambassador of Ukraine in Germany Andrey Melnik. This was reported by the diplomat on Twitter.

The musician visited Russian-occupied Crimea, in violation of the law of Ukraine.

“Celebrating pop-diplomatic victory in Germany! After our protest the Crimean Voyager H. P. Baxxter from “Scooter” flew out of the jury of DSDS!” – wrote Miller.

4 August 2017, the participants of the German group Scooter flew to annexed Crimea, thereby violating Ukrainian law. In office of public Prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea reported that the musicians, for it threatens till eight years of imprisonment, and the Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany Andrew Miller urged the organizers of the German show DSDS to exclude from the jury singer H. P. Baxter.




The leader of the Scooter flew out from the jury of the TV show because of a trip to the Crimea 12.10.2017
