Note on the ban on entry to Ukraine, the mayor of Przemysl Robert Homa directed to the competent authorities, namely the security Service of Ukraine. About that today at the briefing said the speaker of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Marian Betz, the correspondent ЛІГА.net.

“With regard to the prohibition (on entry to Ukraine) the mayor of Przemysl, we received a note to the Polish side and forwarded it to the competent authorities of Ukraine. Now this issue worked through. Foreign Minister of Ukraine personally holds this question on control”, – she said and added that the matter belongs to the competence of the SBU.

17 January 2017, it was reported that the SBU has banned entry to Ukraine the mayor of the Polish city of Przemysl Robert Homa allegedly due to his participation in anti-Ukrainian actions.

Poland demanded from Ukraine to provide a full explanation of the circumstances for the ban.
