Purchased for Ukraine in international organizations on state programs for the treatment of tuberculosis vaccine (BCG) is already in warehouses and will soon be delivered to the regions. This was at the briefing said the acting Minister of health Suprun, the correspondent ЛІГА.net.

“Ukraine delivered two and a half million doses purchased by UNICEF. We already got them at the warehouse of the Ministry of health, prepare the order of distribution to the regions,” she said.

According to Suprun, BCG will be distributed by region “for five days, and the number of vaccine doses sent to the regions will be published on the Agency’s website. The official noted that BCG will be distributed in health facilities by local authorities and urged them to report cases of shortage or lack of vaccines.

In mid-August 2016 Suprun said that thanks to the procurement of medicines through international organizations, the Ministry of health for 2014 have saved 790 million UAH.
