The national Bank of Ukraine (NBU) predicts growth of international reserves of Ukraine to $22.2 billion at the end of 2018. This NBU reported in the inflation report on the official website.

The build-up of reserves will contribute to continued cooperation with the International monetary Fund (IMF), according to the national Bank.

The regulator expects that during the next year from the IMF received $3.5 billion, which will also allow you to get a loan from the world Bank in the amount of $0.5 billion “, Together with the surplus of consolidated balance of payments this will increase international reserves to $22.2 billion (or 4.2 months of imports of the future period) at the end of 2018,” – says the national Bank.

In 2019 the significant payments on public debt will reduce reserves to $21.1 billion (or 3.9 months of imports of the future period) as of the end of the year.
