Net international reserves of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) in August increased by 10.5% to $5,43 billion compared to the previous month. This controller is reported on the official website.

Since the beginning of the year net reserves of the NBU increased by 28.6% from 4.22 billion.

Help. Net international reserves – that part of the monetary base that is backed by gold and convertible currency. It grows, if the regulator buys a currency in the interbank market to support the course.

International reserves of Ukraine on September 1, according to preliminary data, amounted to $18,03 billion (equivalent). The last time the reserves exceeded the mark in early 2014.
