The oldest resident of Mexico jesús Castillo Rangel died at the age of 121 years. This is with reference to the Ministry of social development of the country according to local television station Televisa.
The man, thought to be the most long-lived Mexican, died in a hospital in Chetumal city due to pneumonia and respiratory failure.
It is noted that in the last months of his life, Rangel felt bad, but for a few days before his death his condition deteriorated.
According to official figures, Rangel was born in 1896. As he told the survivor, during the Mexican revolution of 1910-1917 years he fought in the armies of the revolutionaries Venustiano Carranza and emiliano Zapata.
In some circles, Rangel was called the last party of the Mexican revolution, extant.
