The main opposition Spanish socialist workers party (PSOE) asked the government to clarify the situation about a possible Russian intervention in the crisis that arose after the illegal referendum on the independence of Catalonia. It is reported by El Pais.
The main opposition has asked the Vice-Prime Minister, territorial administration Minister Soraya Saenz de Santamaria that she explained all the details of foreign intervention in the Catalan process.
“We want to be informed about the possibility of foreign intervention that happened in Catalonia, if it happened, and what are the actions of the government”, – said the press-Secretary of the socialists in the Congress of Deputies Margarita Robles.
Spanish opposition members call on Deputy Prime Minister to appear in a special Commission to clarify all the details, since the foreign activity would have “an important influence” on the political situation in Catalonia.

14 November in Brussels was made by the Ministers of defense and foreign Affairs of Spain, which reported the intervention groups from Russia in a referendum on the independence of Catalonia with the aim to destabilize the situation in the country.
On 11 November it became known that RT and Sputnik media associated with the Kremlin used a large number of accounts in social networks associated with Venezuela, in order to promote a negative image of Spain.
