The OSCE extended the mandate of the observer mission at checkpoints on the Russian-Ukrainian border, Gukovo and Donetsk. This was reported on the website of the organization.

The decision was taken by the OSCE permanent Council.

Mandate extended for three months. The composition of the observation mission consists of 20 civilian observers.

12 January the new head of mission of OSCE the Minister for foreign Affairs of Austria Sebastian Kurz said that special attention is paid to the expansion of the Special monitoring mission of OSCE in Ukraine.

The OSCE extended the work of observers in points of Gukovo and Donetsk 28.01.2017
