The Prosecutor General’s office filed a motion in the Appellate court of Kiev about cancellation of the decision of Pechersky regional court, which previously found no grounds to apply the measure of restraint for Mikhail Saakashvili. This was reported on the website of the court.

Appeal on 15 Dec submitted by the Prosecutor Alexander Govorushin.

On the date of the hearing is not reported.

On December 11 the court refused to send the ex-Governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili under-house arrest. The corresponding decision was made the judge of the Pechersk district court Larissa Sokol.

8 December 2017 police arrested Saakashvili. The policy was charged with part 2 of article 256 of the criminal code – assistance to members of the criminal organizations and concealment of their criminal activities.

12 Dec GPU added to the suspicion of Saakashvili’s article on the financing of the takeover.
