President Petro Poroshenko has signed a law that would ratify Ukraine’s participation in the program of the European Union (EU) “the competitiveness of the enterprises of small and medium-sized enterprises (COSME)”. About it reports a press-service of the head of state.
This agreement will allow Ukraine to implement projects in the following areas of the program: improving access for small and medium enterprises to markets; improving competitiveness; building the culture of doing business.
Help. COSME is the EU program aimed at creating favorable conditions for development of small and medium businesses of the countries, which is implemented in the framework of the Europe 2020 strategy. The programme budget is €2.3 billion.
The agreement provides for Ukraine’s participation in the following programs: improving access of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to the markets; improving the regulatory conditions for the functioning of SMEs; the creation of a culture of doing business.

Members of Parliament approved the accession of Ukraine to the program on February 22.
