The Ministry of foreign Affairs and European integration of Moldova, refused Russian delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin in flight through the country’s airspace and landing at the airports in Chisinau and Tiraspol Russian aircraft. This is the Agency NewsMaker.

The visit was planned to participate in the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the beginning of the peacekeeping operation on the Dniester. Rejection letter the Ministry sent on Wednesday 19 July at the Russian Embassy in Moldova.

It says that the Moldovan competent authorities to refuse permission for overflight of the airspace of Moldova and landing aircraft for the air forces of the Russian Federation in the airports of Chisinau and Tiraspol, due to the lack of necessary conditions, in particular the lack of control of the Tiraspol airport.

The Ministry said that the Russian side has informed earlier.

In Moldova, added that since there is no agreed plan of joint events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Agreement on principles of peaceful settlement of the armed conflict in Transnistria and the beginning of the peacekeeping operation on the Dniester, it is impractical to conduct such activities unilaterally.

Any reaction from the Russian side is not followed.
