The Federation Council of Russia in the preliminary list involved in the removal of Russia from the Olympics of persons against whom may impose sanctions, including the head of the world anti-doping Agency (WADA) Craig reedy and spectacular Robert Mueller. It is reported by RBC with reference to sources.
Also on the list, the Commissioner WADA to investigate allegations of doping frauds in the Sochi Olympic games Richard McLaren, a member of the Commission, Richard young, and an investigator of the Commission Martin Dubbey. Just the initial list included more than ten people.
Personal sanctions to the officials of the Commission of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation will apply after the winter Olympics in Korea. Probably, it will go on the request to restrict entry to Russia.
Officially, the Federation Council, the preparation of the list is not confirmed.
Earlier it became known that Russia is preparing sanctions against those responsible for the removal of the Russian national team from the winter Olympics in 2018.
5 December 2017, the IOC has suspended Russia from participating in the upcoming winter Olympics. This is the reaction of the Committee on the results of the investigation of doping Russian athletes, who sponsored the state Games 2014 in Sochi. Winter Olympic games will be held on 9-25 February 2018 in South Korea’s Pyeongchang.
