U.S. democratic Senator Ben Cardin and Republican Senator John McCain has accused the administration of President Donald trump about the delay with the new law on the strengthening of sanctions against Russia. About it reports Radio Freedom.

In his letter, the senators said that the White house has not submitted the information about the Russian defense and intelligence, as the law requires. And such a delay casts doubt on “loyalty to the administration trump the law of sanctions”, which was signed and entered into force more than two months ago.

The White house has not yet responded to the letter.

As of 11 October, there have not yet published the documents on the physical or legal persons that work in favor of the Russian intelligence and defense, to them it was possible to impose sanctions. According to the law, this should have been done no later than October 1.
