Swiss investor responsAbility Participations AG appealed to the national Bank of Ukraine for approval of the acquisition of the minority stake in Bank Lviv. This is stated in the press service of the Bank.

All necessary documentation is filed with the NBU on 12 September.

At the end of June 2017 citizen of Iceland Maregere Peterson owned 99.89% of the shares of the Bank lions.

“Mr. Petursson and ResponsAbility share the desire to become the leading provider of reliable and focused on customer needs financial services for small and medium-sized businesses in Western Ukraine”, – is told in the Bank message.

Established in 1990, Bank Lviv has more than 20 branches in Western Ukraine and one in Kiev. In 2006, a group of Icelandic companies have become strategic investors of the Bank. Financial institution has received the largest Icelandic investment in Ukraine.
