On the third day of the Paralympic games in Rio de Janeiro Ukrainian athletes won 11 medals: five gold, four silver and two bronze. It is reported by the national Committee of sport of invalids of Ukraine.

Won in powerlifting Lydia Solovyova, setting a Paralympic record. In the swimming gold medals won by Elizaveta Meleshko, Dmitry and Maxim Vinogradec Kripak. And first place at the Cycling track took Yegor Dementyev.

Silver medals in the swimming competition got Victoria savtsova and Yaroslav Denisenko. Athlete Anastasia Mysnyk and judoka Alexander Nazarenko also took second place.

Bronze in swimming competitions won Danil Chufarov and Denis Dubrov.

Ukraine is now in third place in the overall medal standings. Three days of competitions Ukrainian Paralympians have set six world records, four European records and broke seven Paralympic records.
