The trilateral contact group on settling the situation in Donbas (Ukraine – Organization for security and cooperation in Europe – Russia) initiated a meeting in Minsk (Belarus). This was reported by press Secretary of the Ukrainian representative Leonid Kuchma Daria olifer in Facebook.

“In Minsk began the meeting of the Trilateral contact group,” she wrote.

The trilateral contact group intends to hold a meeting in Minsk on 7 September.

On 15 August President’s representative on peaceful settlement of the conflict in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, first Deputy speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Gerashchenko said that during the trilateral meeting in Minsk, August 26, Ukraine will require the admission of the representatives of the International Committee of the red cross to prisons, involvement in the search for missing persons in the occupied territory of Donbass.

On the eve of the adviser of head of SBU Yury Tandit said that militants in Donetsk confirmed the presence of 42 the Ukrainian hostages.
