The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkey summoned the German Ambassador in Ankara for a rally of Kurds in Cologne. Deutsche Welle reminds that the meeting was held yesterday, September 16.

More than 10 thousand people gathered in the West German city in support of independence referendum in Iraq. The participants also called for the release of Abdullah Ocalan, leader of the outlawed Turkey Kurdistan workers ‘ party.

After that, the Turkish foreign Ministry summoned the German Ambassador Martin Erdmann, to Express concern about what he called a war meeting.

DW noted that a meeting was held in the framework of the cultural festival organized by the Democratic social center.
