The U.S. Department of Commerce imposes final anti-dumping duties on imports of wire rod carbon and alloy steel from Belarus, Russia and the UAE, according to uaprom.info.

According to the Ministry of trade, released on November 21, the only Belarusian steel producer BMZ has received a preliminary duty of 280,02%.

At the same time, Russian suppliers Abinsky EMZ and NLMK-Ural taxed in the amount of 756,93%, other producers of wire rod in Russia received a bid in 436,80%.

About the company Emirates Steel Industries from the UAE and other producers from this country have entered the same duties 84,10%

The Doc indicates that the suppliers from Belarus, Russia and the UAE was so highly restrictive measures in view of the fact that he refused to fill the questionnaire of the investigation, sent to the office.

According to the Ministry, in 2016, the imports of wire rod from Belarus, Russia and the UAE amounted to $10.4 million, $32.3 million and $7 million respectively.
