The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine has prepared a note of protest in connection with visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin occupied Crimea. This information ЛІГА.net confirmed by the press Secretary of the foreign Ministry Marian Betz.

According to her, the note of protest will be sent today to the Russian Federation.

“We Express strong protest in connection with non-coordinated visit to the Crimea the Russian President with the Ukrainian side,” said Betz.

She stressed that the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol was and remains the territory of Ukraine, it is recognized by the entire civilized world.

“Another visit to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea demonstrates contempt for international norms of the UN Charter, resolutions of the UN General Assembly on the territorial integrity of Ukraine and legislation of Ukraine”, – said Betz.

She believes that attempts by the aggressor to interpret such visits as domestic trips are contrary to international law.

August 19, Putin arrived in the Crimea, where he accused Ukraine of “sabotage”.

Russia has occupied the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in 2014 year. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine officially declared on 20 February 2014 beginning of the temporary occupation of Crimea and Sevastopol by Russia. Key international organizations, including the UN General Assembly has condemned Russia’s actions and called the annexation and occupation of Crimea illegal. Against Russia were imposed economic sanctions.
