The US vetoed in the UN security Council resolution, Russia’s condemnation of the shelling of the Russian Embassy in Damascus. About this informed the press-Secretary of the permanent mission of Russia to the UN Feodor Strzygowski, Interfax reported.
According to him, the U.S. delegation to the UN security Council has blocked a draft statement to the press condemning the terrorist attack on the Russian Embassy in Damascus on November 20.
“This is another, is not the first case when the leaders of the so-called “coalition” are showing double standards against terrorist acts, the objectives of which are rosariokerley,” said Strzyzewski.
Earlier, the Russian delegation at the UN blocked two consecutive draft resolution of the Security Council on the extension of the mandate of the Joint investigative mechanism the UN and the Organization for the prohibition of chemical weapons (OSHS) to investigate the use of chemical weapons regime of Bashar al-Assad in the Syrian province of Idlib. The first resolution was authored by U.S. second to Japan.
