Iran’s revolutionary guard (the Iranian Islamic revolutionary guard Corps) threatened the United States that in the case of its inclusion in the list of terrorist organizations and the introduction of new sanctions, the regional US military bases will be threatened. This was stated by the commander of the guards Mohammad Ali Jafari, reports Reuters.
“As we have previously announced, if the new law on sanctions in America is passed, this country will have to move their regional base beyond the 2000-kilometer zone, which reaches Iran’s missiles,” said Ali Jafari.
It is reported that the warning came after the White house said Friday that President Donald trump will announce new reactions to U.S. missile testing by Iran, support of terrorism and cyber operations in the context of a new strategy on Iran.
“If the information is true about the stupid decision of the us government to recognize the Revolutionary guard a terrorist group, the guard will treat the U.S. army like the Islamic state worldwide, particularly in the middle East,” added Jafari.
He also said that new sanctions would deprive the chances of further dialogue with the United States, according to state media, and will be made a serious warning to us troops.
