The world Bank in favor of lifting the moratorium on sale of agricultural land in Ukraine in 2018. This was announced by world Bank Director for Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus satu Kähkönen the presentation of a new economic survey and macroeconomic forecast for Ukraine, Ukrainian news.
Kähkönen added that the country needs to develop agriculture and attract industry investment. “It is necessary to carry out land reform. We advocate that the moratorium was withdrawn by January 2018,” she said.
Transparent land market, according to the world Bank, will help to realize the potential of this industry.

Earlier it was reported that the IMF will not insist on the adoption of a legal framework for land reform to get the next tranche of the loan.
