The network has published a fragment of an audio recording of the so-called acoustic attack, which, according to the U.S. state Department, staged against American diplomats in Havana. This was reported in the Associated Press.

“It sounds like a lot of crickets… Listen carefully: there are multiple, distinguishable tone, and when they resonate, remind some effect of scratching nails on a blackboard” – described high-frequency sounds in the Agency.

Affected by noise diplomats confirmed to the AP that it is these sounds drove them crazy at the U.S. Embassy in Cuba.

Experts in sound stated that such recording is not dangerous “for a short listen on your devices or computers”. Records sent for analysis to the laboratory of the U.S. Navy.

What was the source of the sounds remains unknown. The Americans in the Havana Embassy complained that the noise filled their “extreme volume”.
