Prime Minister Theresa may believes that sanctions against Russia should remain in force as long as Moscow does not meet its obligations under the Minsk agreements. She stated this during a joint press conference with US President Donald trump.

“We believe that sanctions should be maintained until the Minsk agreements are fully implemented. We will continue to advocate for it in the European Union”, – said Mei.

Trump, answering the same question on sanctions, said that “while early to speak about it.”

Earlier today, the journalist of the edition of Politico Susan Glasser reported that team President trump has prepared a draft decree on the possible withdrawal (or commutation) of sanctions against Russia.

Senior scientific officer of the American analytical center Atlantic Council Fabrice pottier noted that this question trump will discuss with Putin in a telephone conversation, which will probably take place tomorrow, January 28.

Later confirmed the information about the phone call, and data on the likely lifting of sanctions.
