Deprived of Ukrainian citizenship Mikheil Saakashvili published in his Facebook photo, issued by the State migration service of the document, which, according to the former head of the Odessa regional state administration, certifies his “legal residence” in Ukraine.
“Today finally received from the migration service a document that certifies that I am on the territory of Ukraine legally,” – Saakashvili wrote in the publication.
At the same time, the ex-President of Georgia noted that it is not satisfied with this certificate, and seeks a court return to him the Ukrainian citizenship.
According to the published Saakashvili document, it is difficult to say what exactly it certifies. In this case, the certificate States that it was issued on 31 October 2017 and is valid until December 1 of this year.
November 1, 2017, the State migration service denied Saakashvili in the preparation of documents for providing it with additional protection in Ukraine.
