All tickets for the historical match of Ukrainian professional boxer Vasyl Lomachenko against Cuban Guillermo Rigondeaux in new York sold out two months before the release of the fighters in the ring. This is with reference to the statement of the organizer of the show Bob Arum says

The match will take place on 9 December at the arena, the Theater complex, Madison Square Garden, which holds 5.5 million viewers.

“This is the second fight Lomachenko of the last three tickets which the organizers sold out long before the evening of Boxing. At the April confrontation with Lomachenko Jason Sosai fans “took the stage” a month before the fight”, – stated in the message.

The battle Lomachenko-Rigondeaux is unique in that never before in the professional ring met two-time Olympic Champions.

Now Lomachenko (9-1, 7 KO’s) holds the title of world champion under version WBO in the second Featherweight (up to 59 kg). To fight with him Rigondeaux (17-0, 11 KOs), considered one of the most technical boxers of our time, moved up two weight categories – from the limit to 55.3 kg.
