The relationship between the US and Russia are bad, but they can become even worse. This was stated by the Secretary of state Rex Tillerson, Politico reports.
“I told President Putin when he met him in the Kremlin in March and said to foreign Minister Lavrov, the situation is bad, but believe me, it can always get worse,” – said Tillerson.
The Secretary noted that he and the President trump “not very happy” with the decision of the Congress on sanctions against Russia, but “everything indicates that he (tramp – ed.) will sign this law and we’ll just work with it.”
30 Jul 2017 Putin said that 755 of Americans from the U.S. Embassy must leave Russia before September 1 is “asymmetric” reaction of the Kremlin on a new package of sanctions.
On 26 July, the draft law on new sanctions against Russia was supported by the U.S. Congress. On 28 July it was approved by the Senate.
