The adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of the law on de-occupation and reintegration ORDO blocks the ability for Russia to legally conduct your own version of the international “peacekeeping mission” under the auspices of the UN. This was stated by Secretary of national security Council and defense Oleksandr Turchynov.

According to the official, the law of the Russian Federation “clearly and unambiguously” declared an aggressor state, and certain districts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions – is occupied.

“It completely negates the attempts of Russia to disguise a war against Ukraine under peacekeeping operation and significantly strengthens the position of our country in international courts,” – said Turchinov.

This, in turn, creates the legal and organizational conditions for the restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine in the East of the country, said Secretary of the NSDC.
